Thrifty Scrapping
June 19, 2011
The economy has all of us looking for ways to save money. Are you wondering how you can save money and still create beautiful scrapbook layouts and cards? Look around you, I am sure you have supplies and potential embellishments right at your finger tips.
The following tips and tricks will keep you from breaking the bank;
TIP 1
STOP! Don't throw away those soda tabs. Save them and use them as belt buckles on ribbon or paper strips. You can also paint the tabs so they match your color scheme.
TIP 2
Do you want to add emphasis to your cardstock edges but you don't have an inking pad? No problem, take your fine-tip marker and lightly draw around the edges of your cardstock to create an inked looked.
TIP 3
Do you love the stitched looked but you don't own a sewing machine? Your felt tip pen can help you achieve the stitched look. Use your felt tip pen to draw dashes, zig zag lines, and X's to resemble the stitched looked.
HAPPY SCRAPPING!
